I am Stacie Hildebrand and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who has transitioned into Relationship Coaching. I have helped thousands of couples improve their relationships for the last 26 years. I have spent the last two years focusing on helping couples reconnect to become a stronger team by learning how to communicate better, handle conflict in a healthy way, and strengthen their friendship. After I had some distance from our infertility journey, I started working to help couples stay connected during their infertility journey. It helped me heal and gave meaning to what we went through as I could use it to help others. I believe a strong and satisfying marriage impacts every area of your life.
My style is direct with a bit of humor and lots of talking with my hands. I give homework to reinforce the concepts outside of our time together and use examples from my marriage and others to illustrate points.
When we were going through infertility, there were not a lot of resources for us. Most of our family and friends had kids and never struggled. We got so caught up in the stress and grief of infertility that we stopped nurturing our relationship, stopped having fun together, and became isolated from family and friends. Eventually we took a break from infertility treatment to work on reconnecting and it changed everything for us. I want to help the two of you have a strong foundation you can rely on during your infertility journey and after it is over.
I have completed Levels 1 and 2 of Gottman Method Training and am certified to provide 7 Principles for Making Marriage Work education. For my work with couples, I use my unique approach, which is a combination of tools from the Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Love Languages, and Solution-Focused Theory and mindfulness skills. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family, friends, and my dogs. To recharge, I listen to podcasts or read, walk, do stretching exercises, bake, explore new recipes, cook, and travel.
